Inspired by Changing leaves

Hi Beauties,
Halifax is beautiful in the fall, especially with the leaves changing colours hence this look was inspired by the trees on my street. The burnt oranges/copper, the reds and browns and golden tones all found on one tree that's right outside my balcony. If you look behind me in a few pics, you can see the trees. Soon the trees will be barren as it gets colder so I am taking it all in while I can.

For this look I used:
FACE: HARD CANDY SHEER ENVY PRIMER
MAC MATCHMASTER FOUNDATION IN 7.5, SET WITH STUDIO FIX FOUNDATION PLUS POWDER IN NW43
CLINIQUE UP LIGHTING ILLUMINATOR IN PEACH
CHEEKS: FOR CONTOURING RIMMEL BRONZER WITH MAC COOL LIQUID POWDER IN CAJUN AND NARS EXHIBIT ON TOP
EYES: ELF EYE PRIMER, ON THE LID LORAC INSPIRATION E/S WITH MAC ANTIQUED E/S, EMBARK IN THE OUTER CORNER AND CREASE. IN THE CREASE SACHA BUSTOP BLENDED OUT WITH MAC BROWN SCRIPT THEN APPLIED MAC COPPERING AND BLENDED IT OUT. LINED TOP AND BOTTOM LASH LINE WITH RIMMEL EXAGGERATE EYE KHOL AND TWO COATS OF DIOR BLACKOUT MASCARA.
LIPS: MAC FRESH MOROCCAN LIPSTICK

Soft and pretty makeup

Hi Beauties, This is my look from Friday last week I think. I went to BodyShop again to pick up two more eyeshadows 04 and 06 ($8). Buy one, get one half off sale. What I like about these shadows is that when u apply them the true colour comes out but on their own they just look like silver or white shimmery shadows. BodyShop Makeup is really under-rated. I love their products because they are mostly affordable and really good quality. Go check out their nearest BodyShop store and check out their makeup section. http://www.thebodyshop.ca/ There's a sale going on right now until the 2nd Oct, 30% off! Check it out
Tres feminine :)

MY EYES LOOK HUGE, I LOVE MAYBELLINE'S MASTER DRAMA LINER IN MIDNIGHT MASTER

BODYSHOP EYESHADOWS 04 (SHIMMERY PURPLE) AND 06 (SHIMMERY BRONZE) ($8)

Classic look- inspired by Audrey Hepburn

Hey Beauties, this was me yesterday. I think a red lip for work is fine as long as its a really subtle shade. I did a neutral eye with a red lip and my pearls to add to the classic look.  I also did my hair in a bouffant - Inspired by Audrey Hepburn in one of my favourite movies- Breakfast at Tiffany's. I love classic movies. Don't mind the cleavage, I had a jacket on at work.

I'm also in the transition of growing out my hair and so if you are like me bobby pins can become your best friend. This is an easy style for those who kept the back of their hair short. I just pinned the hair to the side and left the back down in a short of mohawk with the front in a poof or peacock. Yes black women can be inspired by Hollywood legends for every day styles :)

Audrey Hepburn's classic chic style
Imitation is the best form of flattery- me sans the tiara and the cigarette :)
