Inspired by Changing leaves

Hi Beauties,
Halifax is beautiful in the fall, especially with the leaves changing colours hence this look was inspired by the trees on my street. The burnt oranges/copper, the reds and browns and golden tones all found on one tree that's right outside my balcony. If you look behind me in a few pics, you can see the trees. Soon the trees will be barren as it gets colder so I am taking it all in while I can.

For this look I used:
FACE: HARD CANDY SHEER ENVY PRIMER
MAC MATCHMASTER FOUNDATION IN 7.5, SET WITH STUDIO FIX FOUNDATION PLUS POWDER IN NW43
CLINIQUE UP LIGHTING ILLUMINATOR IN PEACH
CHEEKS: FOR CONTOURING RIMMEL BRONZER WITH MAC COOL LIQUID POWDER IN CAJUN AND NARS EXHIBIT ON TOP
EYES: ELF EYE PRIMER, ON THE LID LORAC INSPIRATION E/S WITH MAC ANTIQUED E/S, EMBARK IN THE OUTER CORNER AND CREASE. IN THE CREASE SACHA BUSTOP BLENDED OUT WITH MAC BROWN SCRIPT THEN APPLIED MAC COPPERING AND BLENDED IT OUT. LINED TOP AND BOTTOM LASH LINE WITH RIMMEL EXAGGERATE EYE KHOL AND TWO COATS OF DIOR BLACKOUT MASCARA.
LIPS: MAC FRESH MOROCCAN LIPSTICK

Don't tell Summer because I want her to come back early next year lol Here's the look... Enjoy. Can't wait to see the leaves changing colours... perfect inspiration for fall makeup.

$10 Dollar Beauty

Hey Beauties,

I recently got some goodies from Elf at www.eyeslipsface.com (Check it out). I must say that the most I spent was like $10 US for about 6 products. If you are on a budget you should definitely consider ELF cosmetics, you get quality for amazing affordable prices. The packaging reminds me of NARS Cosmetics

I got a Tinted Moisturizer in Dark/ Mocha with SPF 20. ($3) This was my favourite buy. I have stopped using liquid foundation for the summer during day time and I use powder alone, but that means I would have to put on sunscreen so I found an alternative. The colour blends really well, it doesn't look or feel too heavy, medium coverage and it has SPF FOR 3 BUCKS! This is great for the gals who don't like liquid foundation and want some kind of coverage. Beauty doesn't have to break the bank.

Wearing ELFs tinted moisturizer in dark/Mocha and the Translucent Mattifying Powder to set it.

ELF Butternut Eyes

ELF goodies along with some coastalscents goodies

Cheeks done using Costalscents Sunless body art Bronzer in Dark $7.95 and NARS Exhibit A
Goodies Include:

ELF Eyelid Primer $2.00

Butternut

Brightening Eye Color       $1.00

Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 Mocha  $3.00

Natural Lash Kit-Black      $1.00

Translucent Mattifying Powder    $3.00

Exhibit A by Melisa

Hey Beauties, I fellow beauty enthusiast Mel, has decided to share her review on NARS Exhibit Blush and I must say she is making me wanna run out and spend that $26 US on it (hopefully I get a discount as well. ) Great job Mel! BTW I love your dreads!

I saw the NARS "Orgasm" blush mentioned in the "You make me  blush...."  post here on Necessary Beauty and went to Sephora intending to buy it. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I tried the Orgasm blush and it didn’t show up well on my skin; it actually looked gold on my skin, like a bronzer. I was disappointed but the sales associate suggested that I try the NARS "Exhibit A" blush and I loved it when I tired it and bought that instead (and I got 15% off too, yah!). The Exhibit A blush looks like a highlighted orange color but the color more subdued on my skin. Love, love, love it!

I used the blush with this look, wearing some my favorite eye shadows.

Foundation:
Clinique Perfectly Real Makeup in 48(P)
Mac Studio Fix in NW50

Eyes:
LancĂ´me Color Design in The New Black
Black Radiance Sunrise/Sunset Duo
Mascara:
Clinique High Impact in Black

Lips:
Clinique Lip Gloss in Blackberry Bloom

Cheeks:
Nars Exhibit A

Looking gorg with a pop of colour on her cheeks

TIP: I think Exhibit A would look so pretty over a golden bronzer or highlight like NARS Albatross or MAC Bronze for the summer.
