One of my favourite songs was stuck in my head while doing my nails last nite and my makeup this morning. GOLDDDDDDDDDEEEENNNN! How can one colour make you feel like you are on top of the world. I have no idea but the spanish conquistadors must have known something I don't when they were searching for El Dorado. Gold is one of my favourite colours to work with when I do makeup or anything with beauty. I am the type of girl who would buy a body lotion if it has gold sparkles in it. The other day I was searching online for gold leaf- not the real kind cus I can't afford it but the fake gold leaf to try to do a makeup look with. I did find it on ebay about 18 K but I haven't ordered it yet. *note to self* No matter what complexion you are, there is a gold for you. I have a friend who is darker than me and thinks she can't pull off gold. How wrong is she???? I proved her wrong by showing her different varieties of gold can work for different skin tones.

So I have a wide array of gold/golden products- lipglosses, lipsticks, eyeshadows, blushes, pigments, gel liner,bronzers polishes etc. Here is my look from today and just a few of my golden products that I love.

-MAC cream metallic shadow in Gold Spice. Went to buy it and they were out at the store but Ive seen it online. 
-OPI nail polish in Symphony and Gold Lang Synge. Which inspired my nails.
-Makeup Forever metals- sorta like mac pigments but I can't get enough of gold pigments.

Colour me Copper!

Hi beauties. Hope you are having a fab weekend. My weekend has been eventful so far. Went out withe girls last nite but did not get to take ne pics, I saw a request in the comments to show the copper eyeshadow I got from coastal scents. It is a little bit darker than coppering by MAC which is my favourite copper eyeshadow but I like it. I must reiterate- EVERY WOMAN OF COLOUR SHOULD OWN A COPPER EYESHADOW.

Last night I wore supreme copper with MAC Amp it up-  very bubblegum pink lipstick. It was rather unexpected spur of the money thing but it worked out- i liked it! Today I went to a baby shower and decided that since I didn't get to take pics last nite, I would rock copper eyeshadow today again. I went for a golden goddess look.
